For more than half a century, the name Mustang has embodied the American spirit like no other, the embodiment of the iconic pony car. But in November 2019, this icon gave a new twist when the family expanded with the Mach-E, an SUV, and 100% electric. “Anyone can make an electric, but only we could electrify a Mustang,” exclaimed Stuart Rowley, president of Ford of Europe.
With this declaration of intent, a new sub-brand within Ford focused on electric cars was launched: Mustang.
