The SsangYong Korando is a midsize SUV. The fourth generation of this model has been on sale since 2019 and is a balanced vehicle in terms of performance, equipment and price. However, it can be worth 31,750 euros in the case of the top of the range, with a 136 hp D16T engine, all-wheel drive, automatic transmission and Limited finish.

Interior of the SsangYong Korando
The cabin of the SsangYong Korando is well executed. It has good fits, normal qualities, pleasant presentation and a very wide technological endowment from the most accessible version, especially in terms of active safety. Based on its acquisition cost, few manufacturers offer so much for so little. However, it is an unpopular brand. The dashboard design is clean, simple and nice. The center console feels solid and even luxurious.
The standard equipment of the Korando includes a dozen assistants to the driving: fatigue detector, lane departure warning with lane maintenance assistant, automatic anti-dazzle function, hill start aid, cruise control, etc. Multimedia equipment, without GPS, is more conventional and in line with the average for this market segment. The upholstery is in fabric, the steering wheel in leather and the heated windscreen.
As for its interior dimensions, the cabin of this SUV is especially well used. There is a lot of space in relation to its exterior size. This becomes noticeable in the leg length for rear occupants and both in the width and in the height of the two zones: front and rear. All this without giving up a boot with an acceptable volume for this category of car, although lower than the average of its competitors.
Alternatives to SsangYong Korando
The SsangYong Korando belongs to a highly contested class of automobiles by the vast majority of brands. Although few are able to sell a product with these dimensions so well equipped for such a low cost, its main rivals could be: SEAT Ateca, KIA Sportage, Renault Kadjar, Nissan Qashqai, Citroën C5 Aircross, Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland, among many others.
The Nissan and KIA, which are more expensive, are the most modern. The Citroën is one of the cheapest but worst equipped. Renault is at the end of its life cycle. Almost all have electrified versions, which the SsangYong does not (label C).
