The Yamaha Y15ZR Scooter Transformed into a Valentino Rossi

For all Yamaha Y15ZR scooter riders, have you ever thought of turning your vehicle into a Valentino Rossi M1 racing replica? Let me tell you, probably not… but that’s exactly what motorcycle blogger and Yamaha fan gendayarbesar has done. And it looks incredibly convincing!

Yamaha Y15ZR Scooter

Malaysian Gengtyarbesar has spent countless hours building his Y15ZR scooter into something unique, and the latest addition to the scooter is a very MotoGP-style dry clutch housed in a pearloid clutch cover.

Other mods include an accurate Yamaha MotoGP color scheme, a full Monster (+ other sponsors) decal and of course the Valentino number 46; Ohlins steering damper; Brembo clutch and brake levers; heat-treated titanium exhaust manifold; Ohlins rear shock (with remote reservoir); Ohlins front forks; Michelin slick tires; and some beefy twin four-piston front calipers with braided hoses.

It is clear from the numerous custom machined parts on this bike that no expense has been spared. All these mods together make up a very impressive looking machine that, if you look long enough (at a distance of more than 50 meters), can be mistaken for the real M1.

The Y15 M1 replica scooter is often showcased at motor shows in Malaysia, where it always draws a small crowd, as this creation is truly an eye-catcher. Anyone else secretly wanting one?

Now, even though the Yamaha Y15ZR Scooter is a 150cc geared scooter, would you consider buying one if it looks something like Rossi’s M1?
